Now is a great time to have a financial check in with your business, because if things aren’t looking too good, there should be enough time to pivot.
Here are some ways to make sure you’re on the road to success:
Set time with your bookkeeper and or CPA to review your year-to-date income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Revisit your goals–how close or far are you? Don’t be afraid to change your goals if you need to.
Are there income opportunities you’re missing? Do you need to diversify your income streams? Review your recurring expenses and see if there are opportunities to reduce expenses whether utilities, software, insurance, or anything else.
Streamline times three! Find more efficient ways to do things, especially monotonous tasks so you have more time to do money-making activities. Think upgrading software or cutting meeting time.
Most importantly, check in with your team. Your team makes the dream work, so ensure they’re happy, maximizing their potential, and able to innovate as they help your business grow financially.
